Proverbs 22:6 promises that if you “train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Our Children’s Ministries Department believes that the church should be part of this training and our aim is to nurture children into a loving, serving close relationship with Jesus and discipline them in their daily walk with Him.
We have five different classes available for children aged newborn to fourteen years, in which volunteers get involved by giving numerous age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, quizzes and games, music and songs, Bible stories and Bible-verse memorisation, with a focus on missions – complete with maps, flags and dress-ups.
The Classes available are:
Cradle Roll Class (Ages 0-2)
Kindergarten Class (Ages 3-4)
Primary Class (Ages 5-9)
Junior Class (Ages 10-12)
Early Teens (Ages 13–14)
We call this timeslot in our worship programme Children’s Sabbath School, and it usually lasts from 9:15am-10:40am. After Sabbath School, your children will join you for the Divine Service where we all worship together as families.
